...and the greatest of these is love...

Lezlie pretty much loved everyone. I think I mentioned before if you weren't on her good side it was because you did something to hurt her, her family or her friends.

Faith, hope and love....the greatest of these is love.

We are supposed to love everyone, we don't necessarily have to like them. I mean to be honest there are people you just don't like but, you have to love them. Yes, it is hard to do but it is the right thing.

Some people will say I love you just to take advantage of you. This could be in many ways but, they are trying to benefit and they don't care how bad you feel in the end. These people are terrible. They just suck. End of story.

We have all encountered these people and, when you are down and going through something pretty bad, they will show their faces. They will try and take advantage of you because after all, you are at a point where you have no idea what you are doing and you want to have people there. Yes, it has happened to me. It will probably happen to you. But, remember that they will be judged one day and God doesn't care for ugly to much.

I have a bad habit of trying to help everyone. I remember I tried to do so much right after my sweet girl went to heaven. I tried to keep her memory alive by having things made, buying things for people etc. Well, that just made my bank account frown. It actually didn't help me at all. What helped me is talking about her. Listening to others stories. Seeing pictures.

But, I loved everyone and I tried to help everyone else. In the end, I didn't help me much at all.

Right now, I am not as vulnerable as I was. I second guess anything that involves the giving away of money, etc. Yes, I should love everyone but I don't have to give money to everyone etc.

I will help anyone on this journey, you got my email and if you are reading this by way of fb, message me. I cannot promise I can make this journey easier but, maybe we can help each other by sharing stories, pictures, those wonderful memories, etc. You never know, our children may have known each other. Lezlie probably knew more people than were at the Superdome on that day the Saints didn't win. (sorry, not to bare bad news....)

My point is this. Love everyone as Jesus loves you but, don't let them take advantage of you.

1 Peter 4:8 "Above all, love each other deeply, for love covers a multitude of sins."

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
