And the winner is...

So, I went to the awards banquet at Benton tonight.

It is always hard to walk back into a school that once held the laughter and kind heartedness of your child.

She was pretty awesome all around. She was faithful. She was a team player. She was a cheerleader. She was a softball girl. She was the best friend anyone could ever have and, tonight her award was given to someone I feel truly deserved it.

And you know what, I believe everyone sitting around me did too. To me, Madilyn is pretty awesome and all the things Lezlie was. She is a true teammate and a wonderful friend, person and athlete.

Now, I probably couldn't tell you about any other awards except the one Gracie Ward won but, I tried my best to not cry as much as I usually do.

I know this is short and sweet but it is late, I am tired and a little bit wore out. This time of year is always hard because one week is awards and next is graduation. Yes, I will trek back to Benton and support their seniors again. I always means a ton to be invited by some of the students.

Life is short. Take the pictures, Make the memories and always support your children 100%. Tomorrow is never promised.

Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
