Courage is having the ability to continue to trust your loving God even when you do not understand the loss of your child.
Courage is letting others see the real you after loss, the heartbroken, crying, crazy as can be, sad, all wrapped up in one you.
Courage is asking someone to help you, help you learn to grieve and to be there when you need to talk to someone.
Courage is getting out of bed in the morning and continuing to keep on even when you feel like not keeping on.
Courage is going out in public every single day knowing you will have to answer one or two of those questions that break your heart everytime.
Courage is learning to laugh or smile again even when you think others will frown at you or, you aren't sure what to do.
Courage is grieving and continuing to grieve regardless of who thinks you are grieving to long.
Courage fuels bravery and I promise you it takes a lot of being brave to get through everything thrown at you when you lose your child.
Be courageous. Be you.
Psalm 31:24 "Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD."
