I don't have a million friends I consider my close/best friends. Some people think the more they have the better they seem to people, not true.
Joni Holdiness is my cousin. I have pics of Lezlie when she was little and boy do they favor. Joni is a nurse. She works a job that I don't think I ever could, she works at St Jude's. She is a wonderful, caring and loving person. She has been there for me throughout this journey and, it is definitely been needed. I need a Memphis weekend trip soon to catch up.
Selina Worthy is my sister. Some people do not get along all that well with their brothers or sisters but, we get a long pretty great. After all she has my favorite nephew, Will. (haha). She has been great at helping me with things like flowers and, the signature arrow. She is a wonderful sister, friend, mom and she can cook too. Lezlie thought her chocolate chip cookies were the best.
Sharon Williams is another friend I met through Sta Home. She unfortunately lost her son almost 3 years ago. She has been someone that I could talk to about Lezlie, for hours, and not feel judged. She is an awesome nurse and she is definitely a wonderful friend. I am so thankful to have her in my life.
Melanie Furr is one of my co workers. I have not known her as long as everyone else but, she is a wonderful person. She is a great friend. She is honest. She will help you out as best she can and never ask for anything in return. She is an awesome P.A. I am so glad to be able to not only call her my coworker, but my friend.
Amanda Huskey has been a friend of mine for years. She has been there for me through this journey. She always thinks of me during certain days and it has always made me smile to see flowers or pineapples delivered to work. She is my LSU football, rodeo, concert going friend but, she is also pretty awesome. She has helped me with flowers because at times I just couldn't do them. She always seems to know when to text me. Her and Alaina have been there for me and I couldn't ever thank them enough. She is awesome!
Tiffany Luke. Tiffany has truly been a godsend to me. She always knows when to message me. She sees little things that remind her of Lezlie and will text/message me about them. She has been truly wonderful to me throughout this and I am so thankful for her. She probably doesn't realize it, but I am so thankful to have her friendship. She is the bomb.com!
Jessica Hays Miller. We have been friends for a thousand years. Yes, we have seen ups and downs but, she has been a wonderful friend to me through the years. I do know she would give me the shirt off her back if I asked. Lezlie loved her. She still loves Lezlie. She knows when to text me, when to tag me, etc. I am grateful for her and thank God for her continuing to be in my life.
I hope that you all can find friends to get you through the tough times because during this day and age, its hard to find those that are true. I couldn't ask for a better bunch to help me as I continue this journey but, God knows I am so thankful for them all.
