How God works...

Updated: Jun 21, 2019

Truthfully, there is a lot many think they know about how God works.

He doesn't bless you cause you forward that stupid message. He doesn't bless you because you tagged 205 people in a post, commented with hearts and smiley faces, shared it and, shared it some more. ( you can win stuff that way but not a way into heaven).

He doesn't bless you because you said your prayer before you ate once. He doesn't punish you because you didn't give the .50 back you were given because these fast food places have people that cannot count. He doesn't punish you for saying a cuss word when you were 5. He damned sure doesn't take your child because back in 1994 your skipped school.

So, quit thinking like that. He also doesn't bless you because you claim to be a good christian, go to church and still manage to gossip like nobody is watching.

Wait, I am serious.

Yes, I am. God doesn't work like that. God wants all of you, all of you to be a good christian. Not just Sunday and not just Mother's Day, at a funeral, when your friend is sick, etc.

Stop thinking like that. Stop telling people they lost their child because they are a bad person. There would be absolutely zero kids on this earth because everyone has done something not so good once in their life.

God doesn't work like that. You want his blessing, then earn it. Deserve it. Lezlie got his blessing because she was a good person. She was a loving, kind hearted person. She was a good judge of character and if she was iffy about someone, we should be too.

God will bless me a little more than he has when I see her again.

Until then, learn how God really works and you too can be blessed.

Jude 1:2 "Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance."

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
