Sometimes, you just have to remember it will be okay, that you are not how you used to be.
It is not okay that you are grieving.
It is not okay that you lost a part of your heart and soul.
It is not okay that you feel like the world is coming to an end.
Do not believe that you could've done anything different, only God knows.
Do not believe that you have to be okay or normal to have friends or to be understood.
Do not believe that grieve has a timetable. It doesn't.
Do believe you need to rid yourself of the naysayers, those that you feel betrayed you or those that seem to think you will be OK.
Do believe you need to ride yourself of anyone that steals or tries to steal what little joy you have left because in the end, you need that little bit of joy more than you need the ones trying to steal it.
Do know that not being okay is okay.
Do know that no matter what anyone says, you loved more than people can imagine and because of that love, the grief is harder to bear. It is harder to breathe. To wake up. To live.
Do know that living and learning to smile or even a little bit of a smile is okay
Do keep your faith because the truth is in the end God will be with you and with God, anything is possible.
1 Corinthians 13 "Love never fails".
