Letting go is not something grieving parents will ever do, unless they are just the type that do not care.
I always hate to read posts where people tell us to let it go and move on. UMMMM, this isn't a high school break up, or a passed promotion, no, this is the death of our child. We will never move on. We will never let go. We will survive.
We will go through life knowing they are in Heaven. They are waiting for us and each time someone passes they knew, they join them in waiting for us. I imagine Lezlie is loving seeing those she missed that left before here. I am sure she misses us left behind but, she's an awesome guardian angel. The best.
I can even bet my friends that have lost children can take comfort in knowing they joined my sweet girl. The lover of life. She loved people, especially new friends. She loved family, friends, food, softball, peanut butter snickers, caramel frappuccino's, taco belle #7, Big Macs and Mac and cheese. But, she hated cheese.
So, no, I will never move on or let go. I will survive and if you cannot help me, then you can move on!
Job 17:9 "The righteous shall move onward and forward; those with pure hearts shall become stronger and stronger..."
