I don't care what my kids do because I will love them anyway.
If they were to decide to skip college and then go back, get a degree and take a job that makes way less than they possibly could, if they love it and are okay with it, I am too.
There are so many people criticizing their kids choices, just stop.
Why? No one is criticizing you for the bad choices you made and that includes the reasons you got fired from your job, maybe you stole money or just didn't go to work. Who knows and who cares, your parents love you anyway.
Instead of constantly criticizing them at sports etc., maybe they pitched an off game or threw an interception, its not the end of the world. Cheer them, regardless. You know like you do the Saints or whatever team didn't make it to the Super Bowl.
If you can spend ample time taking up for a Celebrity and feeling sorry for their kids when something happens, why can't you do it for your own.
Love your children, even at their worst.
Love them when they make good choices and love them when they make mistakes and bad choices.
Love them regardless. Thats your job, if you can't love them then maybe you should let someone else. Lord knows there are millions of people that would love to do what you complain about.
I am glad my children know/knew they were loved, regardless of their choices. At the end of the day that encouragement and knowing they were loved was a big deal.
Lezlie is so proud of us and her bubba. I bet she is just a grinning realizing we are doing things right and loving her as we go.
Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self control; against such there is no law."
