It is really hard to want to do new things when you are missing a big piece of your life.
I have gotten back into the habit of doing things because lets be honest, Lezlie would not want me to just sit and do nothing.
That doesn't mean I do not think about her or even at times have a little guilt but, I do things.
I always think about her and how she would have loved to alligator hunt, fish, boat ride, go to LSU/MSU games (college is way more fan than professional), baseball games, watching softball, 10 south, Atami, hanging with her friends, watching crazy movies, and so much more.
How she would love to ride that razor with her bubba or go riding in the jeep and his truck. Play the xbox or sing when he plays guitar, make a road trip to see Metallica. You know she would have loved that.
How she would love Friday night lights and church on Sunday.
This week is the start of some new things. Praying to God to deal with all my worries. New group on Wednesday night at church, and I cannot wait for that.
New things may be scary but, they can also be wonderful.
Lamentations 3:25 "The Lord is good to those who depend on Him, to those who search for Him."
