Prayers are very powerful. Having someone pray for you is probably one of the greatest things they can do, or offer.
I am so thankful for all the prayers that I received. I am pretty sure that I would not be here without them.
Today, I am going to do something a little different. I am going to ask everyone to keep my cousins sweet daughter in their prayers. In addition to fighting DIPG, she now has to fight off strept. Praying is powerful and it would be a wonderful thing for everyone to pray for her. Natalie is a fighter. She is pretty strong willed and, she is also not a quitter. God and Nat got this but prayers to help would be much appreciated.
What does it actually mean to have someone pray for you and mean it? It means that you are having God intervene in their lives in whatever they are dealing with be it sickness, in a trial or to just have a good day.
Always remember that how you pray for others is not as important as what we pray for others.
Right now, I pray for healing for Nat with the strept, for her to get rest and get well and make her trip to St. Jude's to start the next phase of her journey, but I also pray that God would completely heal her. Miracles happen everyday. All I ask is for prayer. Pray, pray and pray some more for sweet Nat and her parents, her sisters, and the rest of our family. Prayer is powerful.
I also know that Lezlie is up there and watching over sweet Nat as well. I have prayed many of times that she keep a watch over her, as well as God. Lezlie was strong willed, just as Nat is and she wasn't a quitter. She had a strong faith as well.
I know I got off topic but, I felt this was so important. I got to spend the day with her and Mandy for a bit Friday and it made me appreciate the small things more. The smile on sweet Nat's face when she got to ride that four wheeler with her dad was pretty awesome. But most importantly, hearing her say I love you and knowing that she meant it, well, she deserves the opportunity to be a 15 year old and even more. So pray, pray as hard as you can and know they are so appreciative.
Matthew 21:22 "And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive if you have Faith."
