I remember Lezlie getting really upset about being invited to a wedding in November of 2015. She wanted to do something for a birthday the weekend of the wedding and she was so upset. Why? Because she felt she had to go to this wedding.
So, I told her you are 15, you are under no obligation to attend a wedding of a teacher. You should have never been put in that situation. Unfortunately, she never made it to that weekend but, she knew she was going to bake that cake for that birthday and be a 15 year old.
If you are ever felt like you are made to go or do something, something you really do not want to do, well, do what you know is best for you.
If you are ever made to feel second, make yourself first. Life is way too short to spend all the time feeling second. Regardless.
Search your soul and be sure that God is leading you to where you are needed most. Do not second rate yourself because someone else does it.
Do not search your soul on how to keep everyone else happy if you are not happy. Life is way to short for that. Take care of you and do it how God is leading you too.
Do not be 15 years old and feel obligated to do something that interferes with living. Do not put a 15 year old in that position or a 30 year old. Let them live. We have one life.
Psalm 42:11 "I will put my hope in God."
