Stop comparing...

One thing you will learn is that you can not compare one child’s death with another. Why? They are never the same.

We don’t all feel the same.

Of course we are devastated, heartbroken and all that but, we don’t react the same. We don’t respond the same.

It is not the same.

Sometimes because people want to do this, they make you distance yourself from them. Well, I have because the death that my child’s was compared too was nothing alike.

Be it tragedy, disease, neglect, murder or suicide, they are not the same.

Stop comparing them. Stop having a competition on hurts the most. We all hurt. (This has weighed on my mind because of something experienced a few years ago). We don’t win a prize.

Death of a Child sucks. Really it does. It’s indescribable. It’s every emotion you could feel all at once but, it’s never the same regardless.

Stop making it a completion and stop comparing. We all know we hurt and we all know the worst heartache ever. That in itself should never be made in a comparison Psalm 119:28 “My soul is weary with sorrow, strengthen me according to your word.”

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
