The power of Prayer

So, I decided to skip the helping the griever tonight and talk about prayer. Prayer is so powerful.

Besides lying in the middle of the road beside us while that bus continuously runs us over, the other greatest thing you can do is pray. Pray, pray and pray some more.

When someone genuinely means they will pray, and they do it, prayer is so awesome! It helps.

If you don't know what to say. Give me a hug and a prayer, and mean them both.

Prayer works. I promise it does.

It means that you care about me. You may even love me. But, it definitely means a lot.

I felt like covering this topic because it is often said but no one really realizes how much it means.

It means a lot.

I pray for people more now than ever before. I pray for their wellbeing, their healing, for God to bless them and, I pray for myself.

I pray that I can be a good person. That I can maybe, just maybe help someone that is going through what I am. I pray for my family. I pray for healing for my sweet Nat and for John, Mandy, Lauren and Chelsea. Their fight is a big one but we have learned that God and Nat have this battle.

So, all in all a prayer is worth a 1000 words. It can seem so little but it is so big.

I pray for anyone who is following this blog. I pray that just one person can be helped by reading through this. It is kind of big deal to put my feelings out there, but I wanted to be able to maybe just maybe help someone.

James 5:16 "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
