Not everything happens like it does in the movies.
Life isn't like the movies that is for sure. Let's be honest, if it was, no matter what any woman eats, she would be 5'10 and 110lbs. Don't we all wish.
Love at first sight doesn't exist. . If we were to jump out of car that was movie really fast, we would be okay. Maybe just a cut.
And death, death is nothing as peaceful as the movies show and we all don't just have all these wonderful memories and have the greatest and easiest time accepting it.
No, that is not how this goes. It isn't as easy as books and movies make it.
It is hard. You feel guilty, angry, hatred, sadness, love, all into one.
You constantly try to blame yourself, blame someone else but, in the end you really don't know what to do.
You want to smile and be happy but then you don't because you do not know if it is the right thing to do. They say they'd want you to be happy but, how do they know what your loved one would want.
You want to grieve and you do not want to grieve. Why, they wouldn't want you to be sad or thats what you think. Truthfully, grieve and do it as much as you want to.
You don't let go because if you do you'll forget. You keep hearing all this you need to move on and let go but, this is not Hollywood and this is not their life. It is your life. It is my life and it isn't a sappy paperback novel. It is an unfinished work in progress and you are doing the best you can at making it go the best it can.
This isn't Hollywood. Life isn't fair all the time. Life isn't easy all the time and death surely isn't all happy and rosy all the time either. Real life is not predictable. It is not something you wing but, it is something you live. Just live right. We don't make it out alive but we can make it to heaven and, theres a few of our angles waiting for us.
John 15:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."
