LIVING FOR LEZLIE

What others think...

Have you ever heard the saying what others think of you is none of your business? Well, that is hard to go by because there are so many ways people can say and tell everyone what they think and you will probably see it or hear about it.

But, unless you are this really bad person, I guess it doesn't matter. God knows your heart and if you are living and doing right, the devil will work hard to bring you down.

I have always said I would love to continuously have people admire me after I am long gone, like they do Lezlie. I know you are tired of this but, I do still get messages about how wonderful she was and she is still doing wonderful things. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be for her to be here and still do those things. It would be something I couldn't begin to describe.

If you know you then who cares what others think. We spend way to much time people pleasing when we should be pleasing the Lord. Be honest, everyone is guilty of that.

But, I, at this point, could care less if the people are pleased because if God is happy then that's what matters. After all, my eternity is to be in heaven and there will not be any of the nay sayers or gossipers to worry about. Heaven is a gossip free zone. Imagine that.

So as Dr Suess says, "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and, those who matter don't mind." People that sit back and constantly talk about you and spread untruths, thats just satan doing what he does best. Forget about it and them.

Proverbs 29:25 "It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you, but if you trust the Lord, you are safe."

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
