I cannot say what we want because, that is obvious but, below is what we need.
A compassionate, empathetic ear.
You are tired of feeling alone. You are tired of people acting like they cannot understand the pain.
You want someone to listen and listen good about what its like without a piece of your heart.
You want people to understand why you feel stuck in grief.
You don't want people to heal you or push you through the grief. You just want them to be there as you get through this.
You want to be understood.
You want to go on with your life but, you do not know how.
You want to honor your child and memorialize them.
You want to be supported.
You do not want to be fixed. You again want support.
You need to be uplifted, encouraged and you want a safe place to heal.
You want to be encouraged as you are remembering your child.
You want to try to write or find something to help you as you go through this journey.
You want to remember but you do not want all the pain. That, maybe the one thing that I cannot promise you will happen. You will remember and you will hurt. Its a part of the grieving.
2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
