Definitely not trying to win the most friends award.
I do not want pity. I do not want money (well, we all do but I can work or buy the winning lottery ticket to get mine) and, I sure do not a bunch of bad advice.
What I do want is for people to realize that losing a job, failing a test, getting a ticket, are not the same as losing a child. Definitely not. And I also know how to unfollow, for those that may think that.
So with that being said, stop trying to make people feel so sorry for you for petty things. Geez, I am sick of my fb feed full of stupid petty mess. Lose a child or a parent or spouse or bf/gf, someone you really love and then join us in feeling like the world is crashing down.
Now with that being said, I am sure those petty things may not be petty to everyone and you know what, I get it but, it is nothing and I mean NOTHING compared to DEATH. If you think so, get yourself to church honey cause you need too. Id rather you learn about death and life there than by experiencing it.
Like I said, I am not trying to win friends. I don't get a prize for that. I don't want anyone that smells like drama and a headache to grace my door, cell, etc.
I am 100% supportive of anyone that has lost a child regardless of how (unless you did it and then you'll be in jail and not on fb). I am 100% here for anyone that has lost a child to vent to and if you can't make it to the cemetery to change their flowers, I will. I have gotten pretty good at it.
I am 100% behind every crazy emotion you feel related to the loss and I probably have felt them.
I am just tired of our group of people being overlooked for petty stuff. This is not something we will get over tomorrow or ever. Its an eternity of pain and, our living children deal with it too just like those close to us.
So, if you got a ticket quit complaining about the state trooper that wrote it. I guarantee theres a parent somewhere glad because you could've been someone that drove reckless and killed someone. Lose your child in an MVA and tell me you wouldn't feel the same.
I am blunt. I am honest and I am a grieving parent. That is who I am. Her name is Lezlie and she is and will be alive as long as I am and probably longer. And just like I love her forever, I love everyone that reads this that I know are my friends and, family and, even my enemies.
