Flowers...

Flowers. Well, it is beginning to be that time or day where everyone wants to get flowers.

Flowers. They are pretty but should spending $100.00 or more on something that will eventually die really be the way you profess your undying love. I think not.

I think that an act of kindness, a sweet text or message and even a prayer means way more than those $100 flowers.

Candy. Hey, I would take $100 worth of candy but, who wouldn't.

Dinner. We eat dinner all the time. Spending a killing on a meal to profess your undying love it DUMB.

Jewelry. No words needed for this one.

Valentines Day. The day certain businesses get rich and people get broker trying to prove something.

Let us prove it everyday and not by wasting money. Material things should not be as important to prove something as non material things. Love does not need a small loan to be proven. It can be proven in other ways. But, then again some people are all about that money.

And that is why some people are missing the memories made because they are too busy worrying about how much so and so spent on their significant other versus this other person.

Money is the root of all evil and cannot buy those things that we really need to know someone loves us.

Tears.

Heartache.

Butterflies.

Grief.
