Grief and life....

Better yet, grief and God.

I can guarantee that at least once when you were experiencing grief such as the death of your child, you were mad as hell at God.

Its also normal to question and question during deep grief. I promise I do at times but I know my God is awesome and I also know my baby girl is with him.

Have you ever watched A Dog's Purpose, if not, do it. Sometimes God shows up to help you in ways you'd never imagine - a person, a child, a dog or, just himself. God is with us, so close during our time of grief. Listening, being silent, being there.

God is with us. Remember that. God will always be with us. God grieves with us.

There are many things in this life we would all want to change. Just like we would all want a bridge to heaven and to be able to visit every weekend, etc. That, will not happen for the obvious reasons.

God's promise is we will not have to face this pain alone and, we should remember that. At the end of the day you may have tried to reach out to that old friend and get no answer, you may have tried to talk to the bf, gf, spouse, etc and they just ignored you, you may have even put your pet to sleep but, God is there and he will go through this it with you.

Psalm 73:26 "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
