The one thing you never expect to have to say goodbye too, is your child. Not like they are moving off, going to college, getting married or anything like that. No, like they have went to their forever heavenly home.
But, I choose to not say goodbye. I carry here with me daily. She's on my phone, on my car, on my Mac book, on my Apple Watch, on my desk (both), on fb daily. Why, because not only will I not say goodbye, no one else will either.
But, it isn't goodbye. It is see ya later because, I will see her later. Not sure how much later but it is God's will and I have a strong standing faith it will happen.
Just to think about being in the presence of the ones well love the most and Jesus, that sounds amazing.
Don't say goodbye. Don't let anyone say you have to to grieve correctly because last time I checked, there is no RIGHT or WRONG WAY to grieve and I bet the one that said that has never lost a child. A bet maybe but not a child.
I have heard people becomes upset because they did not get to talk to, text, hug or say "Goodbye", in a different way. I am pretty sure that is heartbreaking but, just think of the day you do get to say Hello again. That day will be amazing.
So, never say goodbye, say see ya later......and mean it.
Nehemiah 8:10 "Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."
