The outdoors can be a great place for resetting your mind and body.
Today, with an almost dead phone, I sat on a deer stand and did some thinking and also some praying.
Of course I prayed to Lezlie to send me the monster buck and that didn’t happen. I also prayed to her to help me start the Honda and that didn’t happen either.
I am 100% sure that was for another reason. But still, I prayed and you know what I learned? Prayers may not always get answered how you want but, they get answered in due time.
I always realized how grateful I Am to be able to work where I do now. I love the kids and my coworkers are pretty awesome too. There’s something so amazing feeling when the kids smile at you and hug you.
I realized that God hears us all the time. But, it’s our place to take the first step to make the changes.
If you are unhappy with something pray about to and change it or make it better but do not keep complaining. No one wants to hear the chronic Complainer when they have all the power to make a change.
I can’t wait until my next hunting Expedition and no phone. It’s amazing what a little peace and prayer can do.
