LIVING FOR LEZLIE

Two days...

Updated: Jun 21, 2019

Have you ever sat and thought about exactly how much stuff you try to cram in 2 days?

It is crazy. We spend those two days doing everything we think we need to just to realize we could probably do some of that stuff the other five.

Life is way to short to force all the living you can in 2 days.

We are all guilty. I have tried my best here lately to live the other 5 as well. Sunday we usually go to church and lunch and then spend the day relaxing or running.

I think once you realize that tomorrow is truly not promised, you will try and do and live more all 365 days of the year and not just the two that fall after a busy work week.

I tried to do as much with my kids as we could. We did not pass up concerts, road trips, or anything because we all wanted to live. We have memories. We have pictures too, especially when they were cooperative and if we would've known what 2015 had in store, we would've taken more.

Two days. The worst two days of my life were the day I got the call and, the day we all met at the cemetery to say goodbye.

Two days. Instead of trying to enjoy only two, enjoy the rest because I promise you this, you will not regret it.

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
